We build packages for data manipulation and visualization.

god is a grammar of data: one vocabulary for tables, spoken from R, Python and SQL. The same pipeline runs on your laptop and on a cluster.

Say it once. Run it anywhere.

gog is a grammar of graphics: one engine written in Rust, spoken from R, Python, Julia and JavaScript. Describe a plot in any of the four and you get the same picture, not a similar one.

Be agog. Use gog.

The posts below are short pieces, each introducing one part of one package. Both have a book: god’s and gog’s, which has 654 plots and not one screenshot among them.

A scatterplot of income against life expectancy, drawn identically by four packages sharing one Rust engine.

One engine, four languages, one picture

R
Python
Julia
JavaScript
rstats
julialang

One plotting syntax for R, Python, Julia and JavaScript, drawn by one engine, so every one of them returns the identical picture. Every plot in gog’s book is drawn in all four and compared on every change.
